Three bodies in Armor Street

The bodies of three?people?from the same family were found in Armor Street, Colombo this evening.

The police suspect that the family members, including a child, had?committed?suicide.

Police media spokesman SSP Priyashantha Jayakody said that the three bodies were recovered based on information?received?by the police.

The victims were aged 38, 24 and 2 and they were Tamils. The?Magisterial?inquiry is to be conducted tomorrow.

Sri Lankan singer Yohani enters Bollywood with a title track

Sri Lankan singer Yohani has entered Bollywood with the title track of the movie, Shiddat. The official female version of the title track originally sung by Manan Bhardwaj was released today. Shiddat ‘Journey Beyond Love’ is an Indian Hindi language romantic film Directed by Kunal Deshmukh and produced by Bhushan Kumar and Dinesh Vijan under the banners T-Series and Maddock Films. Former Governor Azath Sally further remanded

Former Governor Azath Sally has been further remanded till 12th October. He had been arrested by the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) in March.
