Gazette notice issued on resignation of Muslim Ministers

A gazette notice has been issued on the resignation of Muslim Ministers, State Ministers and a Deputy Minister. The gazette notice notes that Rauff Hakeem, Rishad Barthiudeen, Kabir Hashim and Abdul Haleem had resigned as Ministers in the cabinet. According to the gazette notice Hakeem, Barthiudeen and Haleem have resigned with effect from June 3rd while Hashim has resigned with effect from June 4th. In Mullaitivu President seeks unity against a “Muslim Prabhakaran”
