CPC calls for tenders to purchase oil

The Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC), through newspaper advertisements, has called for tenders to purchase oil.
Tenders have been called for Gas oil, 90 octane and 95 octane petrol and Jet fuel, the CPC said in a notice made public today.
The CPC says the tenders are to meet supplies for a six month period beginning November this year.
Tenders have also been called for only from suppliers registered with Ceypetco.
Over the past few months CPC had to deal with contaminated petrol and diesel from a registered supplier.
Recently CPC also had to suspend a stock of contaminated jet fuel.
