Modara mob attack kills one

One person was killed when an angry mob attacked a house in Modara last night, the police media unit said today.

The police said that the mob attacked two individuals in the house using poles and by punching and kicking them.

A 21 year old man died on admission to hospital after he was attacked by the mob, the police media unit said.

The police said that the two individuals, a father and son, were operating a mini Temple in the house and the attack took place when they were engaged in prayers.

According to the police several suspects have been identified over the incident and are to be arrested.
