Five Chinese arrested following raid on gambling den in Colombo

Five Chinese nationals, including a woman, have been arrested following a raid on an illegal gambling den in Colombo. The suspects were arrested following a joint raid conducted by the Colpetty and Bambalapitiya Police on the gambling den located at Lauries Road in Bambalapitiya. Shani Abeysekera further remanded

Former Director of the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) Shani Abeysekera has been further remanded till the 21st of April 2021. Abeysekera was further remanded along with two other suspects by the Gampaha Magistrate?s Court today.
