Two arrested for smoking in the plane

Two passengers, who were flying onboard a Sri Lankan airlines flight, were arrested today for smoking in the plane.
Both passengers had been smoking in the toilet of the plane while returning from Kuwait late last night, the police media unit said.
The two Sri Lankans were initially warned by the Sri Lankan airlines flight crew after the smoke alarm had been set-off.
However the two passengers had got unruly with the crew after they were warned, the police media unit said.
The two passengers were handed over to the Katunayake airport police after the plane landed this morning.
They were to be produced in court later today.
