This video is about a brother and his sister, both residents of a small village in Habarana, Sri Lanka. The man lost one eye while chopping wood.

Virtually disabled he lives with his sister who is unable to walk after a fall. They are both looked after by W. Kusumawathi, the daughter of the disabled woman.

Dambulla correspondent Kanchana Kumara Ariyadasa visited their house in Namalpura, Habarana and saw firsthand the difficulties they are facing in their day to day lives.
