MTV gets green-light for Olympics

The interim injunction order issued by the Commercial high Court preventing the MTV/MBC media network from broadcasting the Olympics was set aside by the Supreme Court today, the MTV network reported.
The ruling was given when an appeal filed by MTV/MBC Network was taken up before a three-judge bench of the Supreme Court consisting of the Chief Justice Dr. Shirani Bandaranayake, Justice Nimal Gamini Marasekara and K. Sri Pavan.
The facts presented by the both the parties were examined at length and the three-judge bench decided to set aside the injunction order issued by the Commercial High Court.
