Speaking to reporters outside court this morning Hirunika Premachandra said she will also file action in an international court if the police Criminal Investigations Department (CID) fails to arrest Silva over the death of her father Bharatha Lakshman Premachandra.
Hirunika Premachandra was escorted to the court today with police protection as a result of the threats she is facing.
Ms. Premachandra insisted she did not try to insult the court by breaking coconuts outside the court premises recently to seek divine help to arrest MP Duminda Silva over her father’s murder.
She said she will now be writing to the President explaining the circumstances surrounding her father’s murder and all that what had transpired since then.
