MR meets South Korean leader

South Korean President Lee Myung-bak and Sri Lankan President Mahinda Rajapaksa held a summit in Seoul Tuesday to discuss ways to strengthen economic and other cooperation between the two countries. Swaraj briefs Manmohan on Lankan visit

The leader of the Indian Opposition in the Lok Sabha Sushma Swaraj met Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and briefed him on the discussions she had in Sri Lanka, the Press Trust of India reported this evening. Eight injured as bus overturns

Eight people were injured when a passenger bus overturned in Omanthai, Vavuniya this morning, the police media unit said. The police said that 30 passengers were in the bus at the time of the accident and it was heading to Jaffna. According to the police the private bus had veered off the road and overturned injuring the eight passengers. Of those injured were seven men and a woman.
