The police found two unexploded hand grenades in Welikada, Rajagiriya this evening.
According to the police the grenades were found behind a library in Rajagiriya.
Investigations are underway to find who left the grenades behind the library and what the ultimate motive was.
The library is operated by the Kotte Municipal Council.
