Sri Lanka stun Australia in CB match

Sri Lanka stunned Australia to record its first win in the ongoing Commonwealth Bank (CB) series in Australia today.
The Sri Lankans beat Australia by 8 wickets in Sydney today in a rain reduced game.
Earlier, after winning the toss and electing to bat first, Australia scored 158 in 40.5 overs in the game which was reduced to 41 overs owing to bad weather.
Farveez Maharoof and Thisara Perera took 2 wickets each. The Sri Lankans had dropped Upul Tharanga for today?s match.
In reply Sri Lanka scored 152 to win the match under the Duckworth Lewis method by 8 wickets and also secured a bonus point.
Sri Lankan captain Mahela Jayawardena top scored for Sri Lanka with 61 runs.
