High Commissioner engages with Entrepreneurs’ Organization, Islamabad Chapter to promote investment and business opportunities in Sri Lanka

Sri Lanka’s High Commission in Pakistan met members of the Entrepreneurs’ Organization’s Islamabad chapter on 17 September to discuss investment, trade and tourism opportunities.

The engagement brought the High Commissioner and mission officials together with the chapter’s president, office-bearers and members. The mission presented Sri Lanka’s business environment and encouraged direct links between companies in the two countries.

The discussion formed part of the High Commission’s outreach to businesses in Pakistan. It provided participating entrepreneurs with an opportunity to obtain information about Sri Lanka and explore areas for further engagement.

The Entrepreneurs’ Organization is a business network whose chapters connect entrepreneurs through peer engagement and professional activities. Its Islamabad chapter provided the audience for the mission’s presentation on Sri Lanka’s commercial opportunities.

The meeting covered investment and business links alongside tourism, reflecting the different areas in which companies in the two countries could develop relationships.

For Sri Lankan businesses, such engagement can provide introductions to potential distributors, investors or partners. For participating entrepreneurs in Pakistan, the High Commission offers a point of contact for further information on Sri Lanka.

The mission encouraged continued engagement between the two business communities following the discussion.
