Janashakthi Life – ICA International Half Marathon 2026 returns with Janashakthi Life as Title Sponsor

Janashakthi Life, a leading brand in the insurance industry and a flagship brand of JXG (Janashakthi Group), will continue as the Title Sponsor of the Janashakthi Life – ICA International Half Marathon for the second consecutive year, with the third edition of the event, organized by the Indian Cultural Association (ICA), scheduled for 13 December 2026 at Galle Face Green, Colombo.

Building on the success of previous editions, the marathon will bring together local and international runners, corporate teams, and fitness communities, creating a platform that promotes active lifestyles, participation, and community connection. The event is expected to amplify Sri Lanka’s growing sports tourism proposition while generating impact across hospitality, retail, transport, health, and wellness sectors.

The continued partnership reflects Janashakthi Life’s commitment to creating meaningful connections with communities and supporting initiatives that encourage healthier lifestyles. The event will offer an internationally certified road-running experience while initiating new opportunities for corporate and civic participation.

Proceeds from the previous year’s event have supported sustainable community developments, including a clean water initiative for schools and orphanages. As part of this initiative, ICA has procured 54 Reverse Osmosis water filtration units for installation across underprivileged schools and orphanages islandwide, of which Janashakthi Life contributed towards five units.
