Singer Fashion Academy Presents En Vogue 2026 Runway Showcase

The Singer Fashion Academy hosted En Vogue 2026, a runway presentation celebrating creativity, craftsmanship, and culture, while spotlighting the next generation of Sri Lankan fashion designers. Held for the second time, the event reaffirmed the Academy’s role as a leading institution for fashion education and talent development in the country.

Designed as a professional runway experience, Diploma and Advanced Diploma in Fashion Design students showcased their collections in a real-world fashion show setting, bridging education and industry while highlighting strong individual design identities.

Mahesh Wijewardene, Group Managing Director of Singer Sri Lanka, said, “En Vogue 2026 demonstrates our continued investment in skills development and the preservation of Sri Lanka’s design heritage, while preparing students to transition confidently into professional careers.”

The show featured 34 Diploma students across nine themed segments and seven Advanced Diploma students with solo runway collections, marking the Academy’s first-ever individual presentations. Additionally, 20 students from Singer Fashion Academies nationwide presented sarees and Kandyan sarees.

A mirror-effect runway added a visually immersive dimension, enhancing the show’s impact. Collections paid tribute to traditional forms while reinterpreting them through contemporary design sensibilities, celebrating Sri Lanka’s fashion heritage and the creativity of tomorrow’s designers.
