The wife of a man found dead?in Wattala, his daughter and son-in-law?were today ordered to be remanded till May 23 over his alleged murder. The man had gone missing and his family had claimed he had gone overseas. Geetha’s Parliament seat abolished following court order

The?Parliament seat of Geetha Kumarasinghe has been abolished as a result of a recent court order. The Secretary General of Parliament has informed the Elections Commissioner of the decision. The Court of Appeal last week?ruled that?Geetha Kumarasinghe is not suitable to have a seat in Parliament. The ruling was based on her dual citizenship.
