Malayalam superstar Mohanlal welcomed at Sri Lanka’s Parliament

Malayalam superstar Mohanlal was welcomed at Sri Lanka’s Parliament and also had brief talks with Speaker Dr. Jagath Wickremeratne.

The actor is currently in Sri Lanka to film sequences for Mahesh Narayanan’s upcoming movie.

The actor, who will be in Sri Lanka for 10 days for the film’s shoot, was welcomed to the parliament and had observed the proceedings from the public gallery. The Deputy Speaker welcomed the superstar while other politicians who were also part of the session, joined in to greet him.

The actor, in an interaction with the media, called the country a “shooting friendly location with beautiful settings”.

Last year, Mohanlal had kicked off the shoot of the big-budget Mammootty film, which is tentatively titled Patriot, in Sri Lanka and had shot with the megastar for six days. The current schedule also has Kunchacko Boban.
