Sri Lanka has not banned any Indian drug manufacturer, the Indian Press Information Bureau said in a statement. UNP to meet the Speaker

The United National Party (UNP) is to meet parliament Speaker Chamal Rajapaksa to obtain approval to hold a debate in parliament on abductions in the country. One killed, 10 injured in accident

One person was killed and 10 others including three children were injured following an accident in Habarana this morning. The police said that a van in which they were travelling in crashed into a tree along the Habaran-Pollonaruwa road. The van had veered off the road near the 32nd mile post and crashed into the tree killing the driver and injuring the others in the vehicle. According to the police, there were six women among the injured passengers.
