Electricity tariffs reduced by 22.5 %

Electricity tariffs have been reduced by 22.5 %, the Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka (PUCSL) said.

The PUCSL also said that tariffs have been reduced by 25 % for domestic electricity consumers who consume less than 30 units of electricity.

Meanwhile, the PUCSL has decided to reduce tariffs for religious places by over 30 %. (Colombo Gazette)

Human Rights Commission of Sri Lanka reschedules inquiries

The Human Rights Commission of Sri Lanka (HRCSL) has rescheduled its inquiries as a result of the coronavirus outbreak.
