Foreign travel restricted for Ministers during budget

Foreign travel will be restricted for Ministers during the budget, the Government said today.

A proposal was made by Prime Minister Dinesh Gunawardena to restrict foreign travel by Ministers and State Ministers during the budget debate.

It was proposed that foreign travel be approved?in case of urgent medical needs or very urgent work of the Government.

The Cabinet of Ministers approved the proposal. (Colombo Gazette)
