Domestic gas shipment arrives in Sri Lanka

A shipment of domestic gas arrived in Sri Lanka today and distribution is expected to commence tomorrow (Tuesday)

Litro Gas said that?3,500 metric tonnes of liquefied petroleum (LP) gas arrived in the country today.

The unloading of the shipment commenced today and distribution of part of the stocks will be carried out tomorrow (Tuesday).

The gas is part of two shipments for which a total of USD 6.5 million has been paid.

Litro Gas said that USD 6.5 million had been paid for a?total shipment of 7,500 metric tonnes of LP gas.

Litro has not distributed domestic gas cylinders to the market over the past few days.? (Colombo Gazette)
