A Sri Lankan prisoner has appeared in court a Dubai accused of lighting a fire in his cell, The National newspaper in Dubai reported. Elections Commissioner happy with polls conduct

Maithripala removes several members from SLFP CC

President Maithripala Sirisena, as head of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP)?has removed several?members from the Central Committee (CC) of the party. The President had sent the list of the members removed to Elections Commissioner Mahinda Deshapriya today.
