PM hooted at when visiting Anuradhapura

Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa was hooted at when he visited Anuradhapura today.
Protesters held placards and hooted at the Prime Minister when his motorcade was in Anuradhapura.
A group of devotees also appealed to the Prime Minister when he visited a temple. to step down.
The devotees told the Prime Minister that while he has done some good to the country, now was the time for him to step down.
The Prime Minister visited the Jaya Sri Maha Bodhi temple in Anuradhapura today.
Protests are taking place around the country demanding President Gotabaya Rajapaksa and Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa to resign.
The President and the Prime Minister have been accused of failing to prevent the current economic crisis. (Colombo Gazette)
