Cop who brought corpse of woman in bag commits suicide

A policeman who had brought the corpse of a woman in a bag to Colombo has committed suicide. The headless corpse has been identified as that of a 30-year-old woman from Kuruvita. Police Spokesman, Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Ajith Rohana said the woman was unmarried. He said that a Police Sub Inspector attached to the Buttala Police had been identified as the man who brought the corpse in a bag to Dam Street.
