Tax on imported sugar, potatoes increased

The tax on imported sugar and potatoes has been increased with effect from today, the Finance Ministry said. Accordingly the commodity levy on?imported sugar has been increased by Rs. 12 per kilogram and and the levy on imported? potatoes has been increased by Rs. 10 per kilogram.
