Coronavirus death toll in Sri Lanka increases to 229

The coronavirus death toll in Sri Lanka increased to 229 today.
The Government said that four more deaths were reported today.
Of the four deaths, one victim is a resident of Mount Lavinia.
The 74-year-old woman from Mount Lavinia had been transferred from the Colombo National Hospital to the Homagama Base Hospital after testing positive for the coronavirus.
She died while receiving treatment at the Homagama Base Hospital.
The second victim is a 64-year-old man from Kattankudy. He was transferred from the Kalmunai hospital to the Homagama Base Hospital after testing positive for the coronavirus.
He died while receiving treatment at the Homagama Base Hospital.
The third victim is a 76-year-old man from Wellampitiya. He was transferred from the Colombo National Hospital to the Homagama Base Hospital after testing positive for the coronavirus.
He died while receiving treatment at the Homagama Base Hospital.
The fourth victim is a 58-year-old man from Opanayaka. He was transferred from the Ratnapura hospital to the Homagama Base Hospital after testing positive for the coronavirus.
He had also died while receiving treatment at the Homagama Base Hospital. (Colombo Gazette)
