Number of coronavirus patients in Sri Lanka rises to seven

The Government says two more persons have been detected with the coronavirus in Sri Lanka. Mass gatherings banned for two weeks

The Government has banned mass gatherings, including festivals and meetings? for 2 weeks from today. Monday declared holiday to prevent spread of coronavirus

Monday, March 16 has been declared a special holiday to prevent the spread of coronavirus, the Government said today. The Government said that Monday has been declared a Public, Mercantile and Bank holiday. Accordingly all Government and private institutions in Sri Lanka are expected to be closed on Monday.
