New app launched to assist health sector in fight against COVID19

A new app has been launched to assist the health sector in the fight against COVID-19.

The President’s Office said that the app was launched by the?Western Province Health Services Office at the Presidential Secretariat today.

The app allows the health sector and other services to obtain the information they require in the coronavirus control operations.

The app will provide access to vital information including details of coronavirus patients, associates, quarantine, PCR testing services, observations, decisions, and information on areas closest to the infected. (Colombo Gazette)

UAE bans citizens from travelling to Sri Lanka

Citizens of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) cannot travel to several countries including Sri Lanka till July 21, several foreign media reports have said citing authorities.
