Diana to sue individuals who attacked her on social media

Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) National List Parliamentarian Diana Gamage says she intends to take legal action against individuals who attacked her on social media.

Diana Gamage told Colombo Gazette that false allegations were posted on social media after she supported the 20th Amendment to the Constitution.

She noted that among the allegations made was that she was a dual citizen and that was why she supported even the dual citizenship clause in the 20th Amendment.

Gamage said that any allegations against her can be taken to court and she will defend herself in court.

The MP said that she is now in the process of collecting information related to the posts posted against her on social media and will take legal action.

Gamage last week voted in support of the 20th Amendment to the Constitution and later decided to support President Gotabaya Rajapaksa.

The Parliamentarian said that she has confidence in the President and will support him to develop the country.?(Colombo Gazette)
