TN groups to protest against US stand on Lanka

Political groups based in Tamil Nadu have threatened to stage a protest next week against the US Government decision to back a domestic investigation on the war in Sri Lanka. Water contamination forces supply to be curtailed

The contamination of the water at the Kelani river has once again?forced the supply of water to parts of Colombo and Greater Colombo to be curtailed. The National Water Supply and Drainage Board said that the water supply had to be curtailed in Colombo, Kotte and Dehiwala, Mount Lavinia Municipal Council areas.
