Archbishop of Colombo, Cardinal Malcom Ranjith, appeared before the Presidential Commission of Inquiry probing the Easter Sunday attacks today.
The Commission recorded a statement from the Archbishop on the deadly attacks in which three churches and three hotels were targetted.
The commission has been recording statements on the attacks from witnesses and others at the BMICH in Colombo.
The commission is headed by Court of Appeal Judge Janak de Silva and was appointed by former President Maithripala Sirisena.
Sirisena appointed the Presidential Commission of Inquiry on September 21st to investigate and report on the Easter Sunday attacks that killed 259 people in a series of suicide bombings in churches and hotels. The public were given the opportunity to lodge complaints related to the attacks. (Colombo Gazette)
