Dinesh Gunawardena appointed Foreign Minister

Dinesh Gunawardena was given the key post of Minister of Foreign Affairs in the interim cabinet today.

Gunawardena took oaths before President Gotabaya Rajapaksa at the Presidential Secretariat today.

In addition to Foreign Affairs, Dinesh Gunawardena was also appointed as the Minister of Skills Development, Employment and Labour Relations.

The new Government has decided to follow a neutral foreign policy and maintain friendly relations with all countries.
