President Gotabaya Rajapaksa has accepted an invitation by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to visit India, Indian External Affairs Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar said.
The Indian External Affairs Minister arrived in the island this evening (19) and had talks with Rajapaksa.

Jaishankar said that President Rajapaksa has accepted Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s invitation to visit India on 29th November.
The trip to India would be President Rajapaksa’s first official foreign tour.
