Eleven JMI members handed over to TID

Eleven members of the Jama’athe Milla’athe Ibrahim (JMI) who were arrested in Ampara recently, have been handed over to the Terrorism Investigations Division (TID), the Police said today.

The Police had made multiple arrests of members of the National Thowheed Jama’ath (NTJ) and Jama’athe Milla’athe Ibrahim following the Easter Sunday attacks.

Both the NTJ and JMI have been banned in Sri Lanka.
