Canadian envoy discusses post-war situation with North Governor

The High Commissioner of Canada to Sri Lanka David Mckinnon called on the Governor of Northern Province Dr. Suren Raghavan today (26) at Governor?s Secretariat.

Their discussion focused on the post-war situation in the North and the impact of the April 21 terrorist attacks on the Northern Province, the Governor’s office said.

The Program Officers of the Canadian Integrated Conflict Analysis Process, Ms. Sharmala Naidoo and Vikramveer Suagh were also present.

More close contacts linked to the Minuwangoda coronavirus cluster have tested positive for the virus. The National Operations Centre for the Prevention of the COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO) said that 24 close contacts of the Minuwangoda apparel facility tested positive for the virus over a 24-hour-period ending at 6am today. Individual who visited Colombo book fair tests positive for coronavirus
