Moody’s Investors Service has warned that the relief package announced by Finance Minister Basil Rajapaksa recently, could compound Sri Lanka’s fiscal challenge. Former WPC opposition leader Kithsiri Kahatapitiya dies of Covid

Former Opposition Leader of the Western Provincial Council Kithsiri Kahatapitiya has died after being infected with the coronavirus. Kahatapitiya passed away while being treated for the virus. Remains of two males found washed ashore in Colombo

The remains of two males have been found washed ashore in Colombo, the Police said. According to the Police, one body was found in Bambalapitiya near Marine Drive. The Police said that the other body was found along the Wellawatte beach. The cause of death is still unknown. Investigations are underway. (Colombo Gazette)
