Underworld weapons factory found in Ruwanwella

One suspect has been arrested following a raid conducted on a weapons factory in Ruwanwella. Preliminary investigations reveal the weapons factory belongs to an underworld gang. The suspect was arrested during the raid conducted by officials from the Police Special Task Force (STF). Multiple firearms and explosives have been seized by the STF from the weapons factory. Reserve Bank of India signs US$400mn swap deal for Sri Lanka

The Reserve Bank of India has signed document for a US$ 400 million currency swap facility to Sri Lanka till November 2022, the Indian High Commission in Colombo said.
