SLFP and SLPP agree on name for new alliance

The Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) and the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) have decided on a name for the new alliance they hope to form.

SLFP Parliamentarian and United People’s Freedom Alliance General Secretary Mahinda Amaraweera said that they agreed on the name ‘Sri Lanka Nidahas Podujana Peramuna’ for the proposed alliance.

However both sides have not yet agreed on forming the alliance and if they will contest as an alliance at the next election.

  1. Within the last five years how many new political parties you have seen? What does it tell you? This fools can be divided easily. When the West was a superpower, this fools went through a brutal civil war for decades. Now China has also become powerful. This fools are not wise enough to handle two world powers and cunning Indians. Therefore, this fools will be worse off than any other losers in the history of Asia. I can see what is coming, and this fools deserve it.
