FR petition case filed by IGP postponed by SC

The Supreme Court today postponed the case on the Fundamental Rights (FR) petition filed by Inspector General of Police (IGP) Pujith Jayasundara to June 24.

Jayasundara appeared before the court today for the case on the FR he filed against the decision by President Maithripala Sirisena to send him on compulsory leave after the Easter Sunday attacks.

However the Supreme Court postponed the case to June 24. (Colombo Gazette)
