Police seek report on large gathering to obtain Covid cure

The Police have sought a report on the large gathering in Kegalle today to obtain a cure being distributed for the coronavirus. Body of missing monk recovered from Rathgama Lagoon

The body of a monk reported missing from the Rathgama area has been recovered from the Rathgama Lagoon. The Police said the monk from Holland was involved in spiritual activities at a monastery in the Katudampe Polgasduwa area. Over 520 coronavirus patients detected in Colombo

Over 520 coronavirus patients have been detected in Colombo over a 24-hour period ending at 6am today. Officials said that 526 coronavirus patients were detected in Colombo. A total of 797 coronavirus patients were detected in Sri Lanka during the same period, of which 526 patients were from Colombo, 97 in Gampaha and 53 in Kalutara.
