The Supreme Court has issued an order to demolish the Nugegoda branch of the Royal Institute.
According to reports, the Supreme Court today issued the order to the Urban Development Authority (UDA) after 16 petitions were submitted to court against the institute by area residents.
The court found that the Royal Institute International School at Chapel Road in Nugegoda was constructed at the location illegally.
As a result the UDA was ordered to demolish the building within three months.
