Madush and Amal Perera to be deported to Sri Lanka

Underworld leader Makandure Madush and singer Amal Perera are expected to be deported to Sri Lanka from Dubai.

Notorious drug kingpin Mohommad Najim Mohammad Imran alias Kanjipani Imran and Amal Perera’s son Nadeemal Perera and four others have already been deported to Sri Lanka.

According to reports Makandure Madush is also expected to be deported to Sri Lanka.

All were arrested by the Dubai Police at a hotel and most of them had narcotics in their possession.

Sri Lanka had sought the deportation of the main accused to face charges in Sri Lanka and to be investigated over various crimes. (Colombo Gazette)
