US assists Sri Lanka to build a competitive labor force

The United States is helping Sri Lanka to build a competitive labor force, the US Embassy in Colombo said today. TNA constituent party TELO splits

The Tamil Eelam Liberation Organization (TELO), a constituent party of the Tamil National Alliance (TNA) has split. A group of members in TELO have left the party after refusing to be part of the TNA. TELO leader Selvam Adaikalanathan said that some TELO members in Jaffna had left the party. Swiss Embassy employee appears before CID, JMO

The Swiss Embassy employee who was allegedly kidnapped and later released, appeared before the Police Criminal Investigations Department (CID) and later the Judicial Medical Officer (JMO) today.
