UNP committee finds no evidence to back Ranjan’s claims

A committee appointed by the United National Party (UNP) to investigate claims made by State Minister Ranjan Ramanayake that some Parliamentarians use cocaine, has found that the allegations are unsubstantiated.

The report by the committee was handed over to the UNP Working Committee today.

Non-cabinet Minister Dr. Harsha de Silva said that the names of the MPs Ramanayake accused, was read out at the Working Committee meeting today.
