SC issues order preventing trial at special High Court against Gota

The Supreme Court issued an order today preventing the trial against former Defence Secretary Gotabaya Rajapaksa at the special High Court. The Supreme Court issued the order preventing the case against Rajapaksa over the D.A. Rajapaksa Museum from being taken up at the Permanent High Court Trial-at-Bar till 1st October. Rajapaksa was accused of misappropriating state funds to construct the museum when Mahinda Rajapaksa was President.
