The first report for the year by the Committee on Public Enterprises (COPE) was submitted to Parliament today.
The report covers 17 state institutions including Srilankan Airlines.
The report was submitted by COPE chairman Sunil Handunnetti who urged the Speaker to consider making the full report public.
Meanwhile, JVP leader Anura Kumara Dissanayake requested that the report be debated in Parliament.
Leader of the House Lakshman Kiriella said that the Government is prepared to debate the report. (Colombo Gazette)
