Keerthi Tennakoon resigns as CaFFE head

Keerthi Tennakoon, who was yesterday appointed as the Governor of the Uva Province, has resigned as Executive Director of the Campaign for Free and Fair Elections (CaFFE).

He informed the Campaign for Free and Fair Elections that he had decided to accept the invitation extended by the President to be appointed as a Governor.

Tennakoon took oaths before President Maithripala Sirisena yesterday. (Colombo Gazette)
