Health is a state of mind and wellness is a state of being. With plenty of wellness retreats to visit, guests don’t necessarily have to sign up for a week or two weeks of detoxing to find your zen. The Mövenpick Hotel Colombo launched a unique wellness programme, which will take place daily at the Wellness Centre on the 23rd floor, taking measures to expand their fitness offerings and paying more attention to meditative, full-body-and-mind classes like yoga. The hotel now offers Zumba, yoga, contemporary dance and other fitness activities everyday of the week, 23 storeys high with sprawling ocean views.
