Plunkett to miss first three ODIs against Sri Lanka

England National Cricket Selectors have named a 16-strong squad for the five-match ODI series against Sri Lanka starting on October 10 in Dambulla.

Liam Plunkett will miss the first three ODIs for his wedding. He will be available for the fourth and fifth ODIs.

Warwickshire seamer Olly Stone has been called-up to the squad for the first time as Plunkett’s replacement.

Yorkshire all-rounder David Willey was not considered for selection due to a back injury.
