Odel takes over popular clothing brand Cotton Collection

Odel has taken over the popular clothing brand Cotton Collection, both companies announced.
Odel, owned by the?Softlogic group, said that it has taken over Cotton Collection and that the brand would be a worthy addition to its already strong and growing base.
Cotton Collection said that its Managing Director, Niloufer Esufally Anverally, was resigning from her post as?Softlogic takes on the mantle.
“After 27 years of creating a legacy in the fashion industry, Niloufer Esufally Anverally steps down as the Managing Director of Cotton Collection, as Softlogic takes on the mantle,”?Cotton Collection said.
Cotton Collection was founded by Niloufer Esufally Anverally in 1991, at a time when fashion retail in Sri Lanka was at a nascent stage.
The company, today, boasts of over 15,000 square feet spread across ?ve branches. The 200 people-strong workforce of Cotton Collection comprises of a home-bred design team that curates bohemian, freespirited collections that has carved out a niche market share over the years.
The iconic brand placed on record an exponential YoY growth of 20% in ?nancial year 2017/18.
